Hi! I have added an e-mail account to my Thunderbird and the support by the e-mail delivery says that I should just log in as it was an office365-account. I have done that and I can read the incoming mail, but it is not possible to answer or write a new message. I´ve tried different ways at the outgoing server, but always getting the same message: It was not possible to send the message. The message was not send because of the impermissible number of recipients (well, more or less - translated from swedish). So what to do? Y.S. Mikael Sanner

I may not fully understand your issue, but the normal setting for the SMTP server is smtp.office365.com, port 587, STARTTLS and Oauth2 Please try that to see if it helps.

I’ve tried that and I still get the same response!

If your message is about too many recipients, that may be a restriction from your email provider, as thunderbird has no limits. I presume you are sending a message to multiple recipients?
