Quite a few websites don't connect using firefox, but do with other browsers (eg my microsoft account itself). I think it's because I need to install some 'extension'. I installed the one I thought firefox support said I should, but still can't connect to some websites. What am I doing wrong or missing? I'm on latest Firefox and windows releases on a desktop.

Did you contact those sites about why it's not connecting to their site from Firefox browser?

No. There are a few, and many are major sites who work with other browsers on this machine. Thanks for the idea though, as I'll see what, say, Microsoft itself suggests.
