The 3.6.10 update has caused FireFox to become painfully slow. How do I revert to 3.6.9?

After 3.6.10 update, Firefox is now seconds slower than IE8 loading pages. Google.com is taking 2.8 sec to load, marketwatch.com takes >50 seconds. On IE 8, marketwatch loads in <10 seconds.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.
