I am having a problem getting the home page to stay. I can go in and change the homepage it just will not stay. I downloaded a program that changed the home page but after uninstalling that program I am unable to get the home page to stay.

See the preferences are not saved article. A likely cause, as shown in that article, is the home page has been added to a file called user.js
