If I leave firefox open and come back to lets say a site with lots of pictures. Or even eBay the page will be in a totally different format, not the way its suppose to look, its missing pictures and looks almost unfinished in dos like state. In order to correct it every time I have to go to clear recent history and click refresh. Why is it doing this ? Im really tired of having to do this every time I come back in just 10 minutes. Hope you understand and can help.

Do you have cleanup software that might remove clear the cache?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
