The iframe shim technique for displaying html over an applet no longer works in FF3.6

more options

The iframe shim technique which currently works in Firefox 3.6 and IE8 on Windows and Safari on Mac no longer works in Firefox 3.6 for Mac. I realize this is likely an unsupported hack. Unfortunately, it's also a necessary component of my company's webapp. Are there any known workarounds/plans for providing functionality to display html content over applets in FF3.6 on Mac?

Try posting at the Web Development / Standards Evangelism forum at MozillaZine. The helpers over there are more knowledgeable about web page development issues with Firefox.
