where are the book marks located in the system files for Firefox. I would like to tranfere the bookmarks from one laptop to another.

Does Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer help? It can be an easier solution than actually locating the file Firefox stores bookmarks in.

Firefox stores bookmarks in the places.sqlite file in the profile folder.

Not more than 30 seconds after I submitted the question I noticed in the Organize bookmarks window that there is a back up and restore option. Backed up the bookmarks to my desk top/to flash drive/to new laptop with the restore feature.
