Firefox button (upper left) completely missing!

I had Firefox 3. (whatever the version was just prior to 4). I downloaded Firefox 4 & there is NO Firefox (orange) button @ the upper left corner of the page. I un-installed completely & downloaded fresh & still have no Firefox button. (One of the coolest features advertized).

You only see the orange Firefox button if the menu bar is hidden: View > Toolbars > [ ] Menu Bar

That does not work for me. Currently running on Lubuntu (Ubuntu derivative) hiding the menu bar does not bring out the Firefox button.

On Linux you get the Firefox button on the Tab bar.
