How do I eliminate / remove / delete the "unsorted bookmarks" folder altogether?

I would like to eliminate the "unsorted bookmarks" folder altogether for every instance and case it is used.

Why so? Because I don't want unsorted bookmarks to ever go into a folder where it is not immediately visible. I can always sort the unsorted bookmarks later from the main "bookmarks menu" folder. There is really no use (for me) to have an extra folder. Also, if I don't create and sort the bookmark at the time I am saving it, then that means that I would *like to intentionally* have the bookmark 'bare', at the top level "bookmarks menu" folder.

Secondly, when I go to save a bookmark using the star, I would like for the "bookmarks menu" folder to be the default folder that they are saved in.

This works better for me. I don't like the fact that Firefox developers are forcing this method upon me, and should at least give the option to opt out of it.

I have read tons of threads that provide no solution still.

I have seen one styling solution that removes the folder from the drop-down menu, but then still chooses the "unsorted bookmarks" folder as the default folder when bookmarking. It also shows up in other instances.

Appreciate any solutions.

Thanks in advance.
