Why did the right top oval to hide headings disappear in Mac?
Every Mac window has a small oval-ed rectangle at the right-hand top corner which will hide the URL, the bookmarks and whatever other toolbars are installed so one can see more of the actual window content. Firefox v. 4.0.1 has done away with this valuable screen resource! I thought it was obligatory for Mac programs. No other program I use lacks it!! How can I get it back? I use Mac OS 10.6.7.

But... a reviewer on the Add-On page says: "Yes, it works. But it also hides the tabs (the anterior pill button didn't). Bad. Can you make this an option?" NOT!! I constantly use the tabs. How can that be, that they have to get rid of tabs to restore it!!??? Firefox made BIG error in taking that away. They need to put it back pronto!!! On the same page they should note the 13" mac user as well.
Is this another case of engineers crafting for each other and not for us normal folks?!! Come on Firefox....think users!
Modified
Ok. The reviewer on the AddOn page is dead wrong. This "lozenge" solution works fine and leaves the URL and the bookmarks. I should have tried it before yelling about the warning!! Sorry.
