Clicking the new tab button or the new tab option does not open a new tab. Nothing happens. When I click on the help option at the top of the screen that did open in a new tab. If I right click and select open in a new tab it does as requested. I'm stumped.

go to Help Menu -> select "Restart with Add-ons Disabled"

Firefox will close then it will open up with just basic Firefox. You can enable the Add-ons later. Check and tell if its working.
