when you click on a move it does not move or respond - all necessary programs have been installed to run this game but now it is unresponsive, it lags and is very frustrating.

I might have run into a clue about a possible solution to this slowness problem by coincidence, at least it works for me. On 4 of my Windows PC's my wife and I play Bejeweled Blitz, on two it gets annoyingly slow already after playing 1 or 2 games, regardless whether using Firefox or IE.

It happens that on these particular two slow Bejeweled Blitz PC's I have used iTunes to synchronize with my iPhone. Somewhere on the internet I found that some older versions of iTunes corrupt the TCP/IP stack permanently. By running the command "netsh winsock reset" on the command-line as administrator this Apple iTunes problem can be resolved.

Now guess what, since I ran this "netsh winsock reset" command, ... Bejeweled Blitz isn't slowing down anymore. At least worth a try I'd say... Gr. Rob

Thanks vriensr, you hit the spot, although unlike you I don't have iTunes. I suspect this was caused by a Flash update. Nevertheless, running "netsh winsock reset" and then rebooting the computer did the trick, the game is now fluid again. Thanks!!!
