The Sidebar is now below the Tab Strip, not to the left of it as it used to be. It looks very ugly, and is very inconvenient. This is what I mean (Firefox 5 on the left, Firefox 6 on the right.)

Is there any way to restore it?

That is one of the changes that you have to get used to.
I'm sure that you would not expect that move when you have the tab bar at the top.

The tab bar is now a full toolbar and you can place other toolbar buttons on it and thus there is no need to make it move to the right if the sidebar is opened.
