For some unknown reason my igoogle homepage switched to something called MyStart and I can't get igoogle back as homepage. I looked up in help and read that I needed to go into Firefox tools but I don't see anything anywhere marked "Tools".

hi,

To see the menu including the Tools menu press and release Alt or F10 on the keyboard. To open just the Tools menu press Alt + T.

The option to set the homepage is at Tools > Options > General. You can type in the igoogle address in the box beside Home Page.
