Sorry, I can connect, and open e mails on my PC from my in box; the headers etc ie who it is from appear, but the message space is blank. Also the buttons at the top of the space for deleting etc are different and some are blank. Even with explorer the buttons are changed.

My son is having the same problem today with a Mac using, I believe the Safari browser

Today nov 18 2011; everything is back ato normal ie yahoo works on Firefox,

Thanks for your help. However it led a to a new "problem", cannot find anywhere, under properties or elsewhere, what version of FIrefox I have; properties say the firefox file was created Oct 28 2011.

I had a similar problem with Gmail and finally noticed it had to do with AdBlock Plus. When Adblock is switched off, the messages were viewed correctly.

How to solve it and stay using AdBlock Plus

Go to "Tools", choose "Add-ons" > "AdBlock Plus Options" > "Filters" > "Update All Subscriptions"

Reload Yahoo mail and your problem will be solved.

I have no add-ons to remove. I keep th ingssimple. On Nov 18 all corrected without me doing anything;still okay.
