I saved a home page to load when I go online. Another web page keeps loading in its place. How can I get MY home page to load instead of this other one?

Hi Wendys66,

You should take a look at the Knowledge Base article How to set the home page. Your homepage might have been changed by a particular site. Out of curiosity, what page keeps coming up? Sites like MSN, Yahoo, etc have been know to ask to become your homepage.

There are steps in that article to reset your homepage preferences to default. I would try that first to clear out any strangeness. If that works, you can try setting your homepage again to your personal preference.

Thank you for your response. The webpage that keeps coming up is something called imesh. I have read the article and tried changing it again but it keeps coming back to imesh.com. I have changed the default home webpage in other parts of the computer and with the options menu but imesh keeps overriding it. I know I did download that program but have since gone back and tried to delete it from my computer. Evidently I was not successful. I have looked for it all over to see if I missed deleting somehow but I can't even find it now. If you have a suggestion I will gladly try. I'm also going to get my tech guy to look at it. Thanks!!

Hey Wendy,

A google search turned up this article:

http://deletemalware.blogspot.com/2011/08/remove-imesh-toolbar-and-imesh-search.html

Might want to try that first. There are a few other articles that might help as well. Once you've eradicated imesh from your computer, you should try restoring your homepage to the default settings as I suggested before.
