Basic installation of firefox works fine but if I add an add-on I can't click the Firefox button and can't right click. Seams even if I add a theme or persona this happens.

I can't right click or click the firefox button, or any of the menu buttons. If I disable add-ons it works fine. How do I fix this?

Chosen solution

If your problem did not occur in Safe Mode, it is most likely because of an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Follow the steps in Troubleshooting extensions and themes:

  • Turn off hardware acceleration
  • Switch to the default theme
  • Disable all extensions
  • Test for faulty extensions

... while checking after each step to see if the problem persists.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Yeh I can get into safe mode, but how do I know what is causing it. Seems like if I turn on any extension or theme the bug starts occurring.
