is checking googles database on malicious websites tracked

When opening a new site in Firefox the site seems to be checked against Google's database for malicious sites. This happens for every page it seems. Is this checking recorded, either by Google or Firefox? Does the check with the database included the originating IP?

thanks

No, the checking isn't recorded by anyone - no information is transmitted to either Mozilla or Google. The malware / phishing URL database is within Firefox in each PC.
