When undertaking a search on key words (e.g. "White Pages") the search goes to Ask.com and is ineffective. How do I prevent this from happening?

If you are searching from the search bar at the right : click on the icon at the left of the field and select another engine.

If you are searching from the address bar, try : type about:config confirm search and change browser.search.defaultenginename
