I lost sync when I tried making some other changes and now cannot get it back. The coputer wants the recovery key from the tablet, and I don't know how to find it on that device. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox on the tablet, and unsyncing the computer, then restarting everything. I even created a new account with an alternate email address. Every time, even when I ask the computer to generate a new code, and all looks well, the computer will say that the key is wrong, and I should get it from the other device. The "how to" has instructions that would work from a computer's version of firefox, but I can't find a way in from the android's format. Can anyone help? How can I completely reset?.... Or find the key on the tablet?

Thank you. I tried to add the add-on, and my tablet (asus transformer prime) says it could not do it because it is incompatible with ... (I can't see the rest, and if I tap it, it goes to the add-on page, with that message gone. Frustrating!) I then searched add-ons and found about:synckey. This one I was able to add, however, when I use it, I get the "Your Firefox Sync Key" page, complete with the keep it secret and keep it safe paragraphs, but no key displayed.

I've gotten a new key, and tried set up from the direction of typing the key into the tablet (after uninstalling firefox from it, powering down and up), but the computer still says it's the wrong key.

I see I can completely delete my sync account. but then it also says I will no longer be able to sync. Does this mean I can't go get a new one?

Thanks for your help! Celia

Last thing last night, I tried about:synckey again on both and got the same key displayed. Don't know why it wouldn't display on the tablet before, or if that was indicative of the problem. Tried syncing again this morning and it worked just fine. I won't touch it again! :) Thanks so much for your help.
