With Firefox 11.0 and Windows Vista, if I set the download folder to "C:\Temp" it uses "C:\Temp\Temp" (it doubles the directory name.) I tested this with Firefox 10.0.2 and it works properly. Does anyone have any ideas?

In the options, if I try to set the download location to "C:\Temp" Firefox 11.0 uses "C:\Temp\Temp". This is with Windows Vista, both Home Basic and Business. I tried it with Firefox 10.0.2 and it works properly. Also, Firefox 11.0 works properly with Windows 7, and sets the correct download location.

Hi RedRamGT,

You might want to take a look at the article How to fix preferences that won't save. It could be that Firefox is having trouble writing to the pref.js file. You could also try creating a new profile.

Hopefully this helps!

You can also check the %TEMP% and %TMP% environment variables.
