Running Firefox 13.0.1 on a Dell PC. Websites load, but streaming media (audio and video) will not load. I tried the articles on plug ins but could not find one that blocked this process. This is a new development - Firefox had been working fine. Streaming media is fine on these sites when using Internet Explorer.

What to do?

There are some compatibility issues between the latest Flash player and some Firefox add-ons or settings. Could you see whether anything in this article helps: Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox.

Problem solved. Turning off the download and recording on RealPlayer solved the problem. Many thanks, Mr. Scher!
