The problem appears often, about 4 out of 5 times, when watching fullscreen flash video (eg on youtube) and then clicking external link (opened in new tab on ff). Not sure if that's flash or ff bug. Using flash 11.3 and ff 16, gonna update ff and flash and I'll update info if the problem is solved as I read 11.3 crashes often.

Your system details list shows two Flash plugins.

  1. Shockwave Flash 11.5 r502
  2. Shockwave Flash 11.3 r300

You should remove the latter.

You can check for problems caused by recent Flash updates and try these:

  • disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
  • disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later
  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

I have updated FF and Flash and everything seems fine now. Sorry for trouble and thanks for a reply.
