I switched browesers , how do I get rid of internet explorer ? when i uninstall it it says can not uninstall can not find files or something like that,, when i click on internet options should it say firefox instead of internet explorer???

You don't need to remove IE in order to use Firefox.
Firefox doesn't use "Internet Options".

What, specifically, are you looking for that you would expect to find in IE's Internet Options?
