After updating to current version of Firefox images do not transfer when cut and pasted into word documents. This problem occurs over a range of websites and does not arise from a restriction on the material being cut and pasted.

Firefox has just installed a full version of an update (about 30 Mb). The browser is now behaving correctly. Thanks for the update.

Hello,

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

Thank you.

Looks that they skipped the 25 beta 5 release (it went from b4 to b6), probably due to the summit this last weekend.

The Firefox update worked for about 5 minutes then crashed. When it resumed the update had vanished and the problem returned. Firefox again tried to update, failed and my computer crashed.

The following message appeared - Update Failed

The update could not be installed (Patch apply failed)

Try to install the full version of the current beta and do a clean install (i.e. delete the Firefox beta program folder).
