A random spacer has appeared today that I cannot delete, it is taking up 25% of my bookmarks toolbar, how can I remove it?

Something resembling a spacer (but it doesn't turn white when I open customize menus) has appeared at the right hand end of my bookmarks toolbar today and is wasting over 25% of my bookmarks toolbar. It can't be removed in the way spacers can normally be removed. I have not added any plug ins (or installed any software that may have added them without my realising). It's really annoying me, please can someone tell me how to remove it?

apparently the new version of the extension that is already available fixes the issue: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/zoom-page/versions/

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...

you can also go to the addons manager and click on the settings icon on the top right to only show recently updated extensions - maybe this will already provide some insight into what might have caused it.

After posting my question I also thought of the add on issue and saw your reply when I came back on to answer my own question! It turns out Zoom Page did an automatic update and it was that causing the problem.

Thank you for your help.

Yep, the update works, thank you! Shame it didn't automatically update to it!
