i think firefox may have done an update a few weeks back, prior to this the banner showed up no problem at all!

im pretty sure its an easy fix that can be changed in the settings somewhere, no i do not have adblock installed on my computer.

Do you notice any notification icons in the address bar to the left of the address? If so, click them to see whether they indicate anything in the page was blocked.

If you right-click the problem area and choose Inspect Element (Q) can you confirm that Firefox is reading your HTML correctly in that part of the page?

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

no I am not getting any notifications next to the url address, I right clicked the area where the banner normally is, and yes it does show it is reading something there, the problem is still unsolved...

if you go to juicybux.com you will see the bottom left hand corner where the "adhitz" banner is meant to be showing..

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page that doesn't require authentication (signing on)?

you don't need to login or register, the ad displays on the home page whether your signed in or not, it doesn't matter.. http://juicybux.com

Yes, the script from Adhitz creates an iframe and shows an image ad. See attached screen shot. (This is with Adhitz unblocked in NoScript, of course.)

ok so how do I unblock the adhitz ad, as I said works fine in explorer but firefox now blocks the ad so I cant see it on my computer. Where do I click on to fix so firefox shows the advert again? This problem is still unsolved.

Do you see the iframe element with the correct source in the inspector? Do you have any security software with ad-blocking features?

You can create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem.
