I'm having a scripting problem with YM and it suggests enabling scripting in my browser...how do I do that with Mozilla?

Recently I started having trouble with YM.. can't see script I type in dialog box. Yahoo recommends I enable scripting in my browser. How do I do that with Mozilla? I have Windows 8.1.

Make sure that you do not block JavaScript (javascript.enable should be true).

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
