I followed the instructions in the support forum to designate IE as my default browser. This did not fix the problem. Firefox still opens as my default browser. When I open Firefox Options>Advanced>General, there is no place to NOT make Firefox the default browser.

Hi,

You can't unset Firefox as the default through Firefox's UI. You have to do it through the Default Programs feature in your Control Panel.

  • Click Start > search for Default Programs
  • Find Internet Explorer and set all defaults to it.

P.S. is there a reason you are switching back to IE? We can help you with the problems you're experiencing with Firefox.
