Ok 1st off you removed the extra "Tabs" which helped alot of us sort tabs, an never gave any kinda excuse besides to improve performance, which is as much a joke as biden was as president!~

 But now ya go an move the d@mn weather app from the Left Side to the Ride Side without bothering to ask anyone if they are ok with it, or even give us the ABILITY to change the location back!~
 Did Goofle buy you as you seem to be goofing up the browser more an more recently an doing stuff ppl do not care for!!!~~~

You might be a free Browser, but learning from ya users is a smart idea before you end up loosing them!!!~~

An John is as much a liar as a politician is, he told me MONTHS ago he would see about why the xtra tabs were removed, and NOT once was a answer given!!!~~

This is the 2nd time I'm asking. I need to re import my bookmark setting from a previous profile. I've tried but can't find the right folder/ import place? from earlier this year only options from many years ago. Please Help !

I reported this 4 months ago and got no useful reaction, and the issue is ongoing, and my last report is clearly dead. I only got one idiot saying "Your answer is in your screenshots". Answer? I didn't ask a question. I reported feedback to fix something.

Ever since Facebook started infesting the chats with end-to-end encryption (random chats get "Messenger upgraded the security of this chat. Messages and calls are secured with end-to-end encryption" without my permission or asking if I want this), any encrypted chats have audio and video calls disabled. I note that I have ONE friend for whom it didn't do this, I can still do calls with her. If I receive a call, I get a pop-up saying that to receive this call I must download the Messenger app (no way) or a browser which supports it. If I check what browsers it thinks supports this, it only lists Chrome and Edge. As far as I know Edge is just Internet Explorer renamed, the biggest black hole in security, I've never touched it. Chrome ignores industry standards, so I don't use it. Making Firefox the best, top browser available. It's the only browser I wish to use. Mozilla needs to look into how to get Facebook to stop blacklisting Firefox like this. Note that this E2EE garbage has only been infecting things for less than a year, before that I was perfectly able to do any calls I wished in Facebook Messenger.

Note that back when I made my previous report, Group Chats were immune, but trying again today making a group chat RIGHT AWAY it marked it as having E2EE applied, so that fix now no longer works.

Can this somehow be brought to Mozilla's attention, to fix whatever Facebook is griping about so Firefox users can stop being blocked from making calls?

Found a lot of articles and tried a lot of things. Too bad firefox doesn't have a way to turn off the crash reporter. Something keeps causing it to prompt the crash reporter but firefox continues to work without any trouble. Networking for an enclosed group. Win10 most users on ESR 115.x. How can I make the crash reporter stop?

I personally am not a fan of the new layout, and cannot seem to find a way to set it to the original. If there is a way, may I be guided? And if not, please make this new layout optional.

Can you add a configuration setting to Mozilla Firefox to disable Create New Profile, configurable in the policies.json file? (A second option but a much uglier one would be to disable being able to select a file location for a new profile. Then you could make the default profile directory write only, which would also accomplish the same thing.) (A third option would be to able to configure extensions by default upon installation in the ExtensionSettings policy.)

To explain, I use LeechblockNG on Firefox on Ubuntu. Very helpful. By placing a policies.json file (see at bottom) in /etc/firefox/policies/ directory, I can create a system wide policy. I can make the LeechblockNG extension mandatory and to be installed upon every new profile creation. That all works very well. HOWEVER, there is NO way to be able to set those options in the new profile. So LeechblockNG is installed with default options (which are no blocking at all), which effectively bypasses the addon.

I am also writing the author of the leechblock extension to see if there is any way to set the options for leechblock upon installation (the third option above).

But I know other people have this same question, and at present, if I am correct, there is no way to block new profile creation, or the Profile Manager window in Firefox.

So could you please add that option to the Firefox policies.json configuration? Something like "DisableNewProfiles": true would do it.

I'm running fedora open access software 64 bit. when I hit download firefox the computer runs it and it seems like it does it but I can't find it in downloads and it basically doesn't complete. What to do?

Can you either move the weather widget back to the left side or maybe instead of just changing things to change them let people put it where they want it? My eyes go to the left when i open a new tab and it was a lot nicer on the left side. Now its on the right and it actually makes no sense to me why it was moved so move it back or give people the choice to have it where they want it.

With normal mice, when you scroll you typically scoll in steps which you feel as the mouse wheel feedback.

The issue here is with high resolution scroll wheels, whether that is a knob or a "frictionless" mouse wheel like on higher end logitech mice.

What happens: You slowly rotate the scroll wheel while nothing is happens in firefox, then you get to a certain point and firefox scolls one step, then you continue to slowly rotate the wheel, and eventually firefox scrolls another step.

What should happen: It continuously scolls as you rotate the wheel. This works in chromium browsers and other chromium based apps like discord, steam, etc, it also works in kde settings app, dolphin, okular, etc. But not firefox. It even works in terminal.

Both firefox and thunderbird are like this.

Is there a way to get this working or is it simply not supported in firefox? If so then feature request: get high res scoll wheels to work

Can not play YouTube videos anymore in current version from Firefox. Before this update (again not needed and messy one) they worked. The videos shown at home screen or recommendations on the YouTube website. Same for my subscriptions, current videos as videos I played earlier somewhere. The YouTube website shows their picture and then the "no content available" message. Refreshing that page and try sometime later, both do not solve this. Unknown why this is happen. It seems another "new" bug inside Firefox.

I installed Debian 12 on my laptop. I'm using Firefox 133.0.3 from Flatpak. When the browser is in full screen and I display a video in full screen mode, strangely, the video is not in full screen... It's on the top left corner and the rest of the page is in violet. I tested on different site, loading a local video and the issue is the same. I can't reproduce the issue on my desktop computer on Windows. When the browser is not in full screen (F11) and I put the video in full screen mode, there is no issue... I attached a screenshot of the situation.

Have you ever encountered this kind of issue? How to resolve it?

Starting 3 days ago, firefox no longer saves my website preferences. I have tried everything I can find to stop this from happening. Suggestion please? The site I am experiencing this on is Griddlers.net. Every time I bring up a puzzle on their site, I have to reset preferences. These preferences used to be saved from day to day.

bold text How to stop firefox from continually making popups saying an extension has changed the page. It is so annoying in regard to Tabliss which changes every new page photo. Its ridiculous that firefox does this & so annoying that firefox is not respecting my block popups rules. Its only started about a week or two ago & it is happening every time i change pages. Its intrusive and annoying that firefox has no regard for what i want on my computer.

I'm trying to log into this page: https://accounts.firefox.com

The sign up or sign in button doesn't work. The first time I click it, it immediately refreshes. I click again and nothing. On the 3rd click, it just spins for 30 seconds then goes back to being blue. This continues every time I attempt to click further.

I can login on this page just fine using Firefox on my android phone. I can also login using the Edge browser. Matter of fact, I had to use Edge so I could post this issue.

This is a completely fresh install of Firefox, on a completely fresh install of Windows.

I have four rows of shortcuts on my default browser window. Sometimes the disappear but they always return a few days later. What could cause such occurrence?
