I used sync on my laptop previously, before I broke the screen. After that, I used Sync on a different computer after changing the password. From previous posts I guess the password change is the reason for the sync data like bookmarks from the laptop not appearing on the other computer. Now I´m afraid that my first, laptop´s browser´s history and bookmarks disappear, once I login to Sync again with the repaired laptop

As long as you don't change your Sync Password before getting that repaired device connected to Sync, you shouldn't have a problem with your data getting "synchronized" back to that device.

I don´t want anything back on my repaired device. The existing data should just not be deleted once I connect the repaired device to Sync again.

All your browsing history after the password change will be available to you, be it be from the old device or from the other device. That is why we perform synchronization. You use N number of devices, and all your browsing history, saved passwords and book marks will be available to you on any of the devices you log in to. Hope this helps!
