The question says it all. I've tried all the suggestions such as disabling all add ons, restarting the browser in safe mode, a clean re-install, updating all plug-ins, and still nothing. Firefox crashes each and every time when loading certain pages, such as logging in to American Express. This is more of a nuisance than anything but I would like any help to resolve it. There are no crash ID's as the browser just closes suddenly and does not provide a crash report. The operating system is up to date as well. I'm at a loss for what else to do.

Tried all of the above suggestions and it still crashes. IE does not have these issues, nor does Chrome, Safari, or any other browser. Also tried a clean install, still crashing.

If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more crash reports that have this format:

  • bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

You can find the IDs of the submitted crash reports on the about:crashes page.

  • You can open the about:crashes page via the location bar, like you open a website.

Unfortunately there is no crash report to submit. I'll click on a link in Google search results such as www.8thcivic.com, (this seems to be one of the many sites that it will randomly crash on) and as soon as I click it the browser closes and does not generate a report.

Upon opening the browser again it does not try to restore the previous session but instead thinks it is a new session.
