When I try to add a signature to my email from a file, I press the "choose..." button and my computer freezes every time.

I am currently trying to set up my signature on my email from a .jpeg file. I select "Attach signature from file instead", and when I click "choose..." to select the file to attach, the computer freezes, every time. I then have to close down the whole program and restart it. This also happens when I try to attach a file or image to an email.

Can I suggest you create an HTML signature and embed any graphics into it? A jpeg signature is likely to be rather unnecessarily large, and IMHO looks tacky, as it may appear blurred and blotchy. The png image format is better suited to computer generated graphics.

It's possible that a large jpeg file is the cause of it freezing.
