Hey, I have the problem, that I have to update certain addons every time I reboot my computer because they are "incompatible". When I reboot my system, its the same again. Every patch some addons are affected, they differ in every patch. I use ff in a dual boot environment between arch linux and win7 and both systems have this problem.

thx 4 help :)

That is probably because you start that profile with different Firefox version.

If the file compatibility.ini in the profile folder doesn't have same Firefox version then the profile will be reinitialized and that may cause extensions to get disabled.

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to do a compatibility check or see if there is a compatibility update available.

It is better not to use the same profile folder in a dual or multi boot environment, but use separate profiles.

Ok, now I understand what the problem is, thank you. But I really like to have the same configuration, addons, bookmarks and passwords on both systems. Is it possible to have these advantages without this drawback?

You can use Firefox Sync to synchronize your personal data between profiles and platforms.

I used firefox sync before I started using the same profile folder. It worked fine, except for the addons and their configuration. There is just no option to keep them in line and I tend to configure them a lot. Is there an addon that syncs my addons and their configuration?
