Hi. The "search with google" suggestions bar is VERY annoying. I want to turn it off. So I removed the checkmark next to "provide search suggestions." It did not work. How do I turn off search suggestions? I am starting to lose my mind..... thank you.

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>)<Shift> A)

Select Extensions, locate the add-on. From here you can disable or remove it.

Thank you but this didn't work. It said it doesn't exist but would let me choose and activate if I want -- which of course I don't. Any thoughts on what to do now? thanks.

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Remove google Anything. Now do the same in the computers Programs Folder.

Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.
