Which version is better to download on Windows 8.1, is it Firefox 32 bit or 64 bit?

I use windows 8.1 so I want to know which version is suited for my laptop. I use firefox version 56.0 (32-bit). Firefox is too slow, is it because I use 32 bit? Should I install 64 bit?

Firefox for Windows is available as 32-bit and 64-bit (Win64) from www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

Windows users downloading Firefox from www.mozilla.org should get a stub installer that will by default install 64-bit if you have 64-bit Windows 7, 8 (8.1), 10 or get 32-bit if you have 32-bit Windows 7, 8 (8.1), 10 or not enough RAM.

Btw it appears you have both a version of Flash 30.0 and a version of Flash 17.0 installed so you should uninstall them and install the latest from https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ (make sure you uncheck the extras that may get selected for Windows version download).

Does your 32-bit Firefox ever slow down because it is using more than 2GB of memory? In that case, 64-bit will help because it has a much higher limit on how much memory it can use.
