Using 64-bit Linux Thunderbird 68.4.1, this morning Thunderbird appears it can't find the password manager. Message is "Mail Server Password Required". Manually, password entries when asked with the Remember box checked do nothing. When entered without checking the Remember feature will allow Thunderbird to connect to the mail server and pull down mail ... only once. Happening for all my email accounts like Yahoo! (pop) and GMail (Imap). Have deleted (and restored) the key4, cert9 and login.jason files with no change. Not using anything like CCleaner or Bleachbit.

Chosen solution

Deleting pkcs11.txt was all I needed to do to resolve this.
