I can not help you out man, But I have noticed a microsoft.net update screwing up a lot of peoples firefox's one way or another... Microsoft conspiracy? Hah, probably not, but that update is definitely faulty...

Every time I get this update something bad happens to firefox, mainly just won't connect properly to the proxy. If somebody knows a fix for this I would love to hear it!

All I suggest is uninstall and download firefox and do not get that update? Sorry if this does not help... =/
