we bought a new laptop yesterday. i was very happy with firefox on the old laptop but i am having trouble downloading it on the new one. we now have windows 7. we have also went to a wireless card for internet service. the download gets about half done and asks if i want to run, i push run but message comes up "file is corrupted"

Temporarily disable your anti-virus application to perform the download of Firefox. You may have more than one anti-virus program installed (like a "trial" program your notebook maker installed), so when you disable it, the Windows Security program will become enabled. If you still can't download Firefox you will have to disable that one, too.

After the download is complete, close IE, then re-enable your A-V program, and then install Firefox.
