Since I have updated to Firefox 4.0.1, it shows displaced texts and fields in a rtl context, why? e.g. chabadcozumel.com in Hebrew, in the contact us page??

For some reasons I cannot explain, it happens when the site is in Hebrew... so I think in the rtl (right to left) context. It throws some texts and fields out of place

That is how the page is designed.

If you need the switch the bidi text direction in an input field or text area then press Shift+Ctrl+X to toggle the state between RTL to LTR.

Thanks Cor-el... but it is not the way the page was designed... It doesn't not happen in Chrome, nor Safari or Opera, not even in IE 8 ...LOL...

Check out this page, it shows the issue better: http://www.chabadcozumel.com/iw/login/

Does it help if you click the English link?

You may need to clear the cookies from that website to reset the settings.

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

See:

If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting 'none' as a high value can cause issues like you described.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

You can use one of these extensions to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages:

Once again Thank You Cor-el... I have to apologize to you since you must have thought that the image above was a screenshot... This was just an image I took with a screen capture software :/ no zoom involved, only concentrating on the visible mistake. This time I took a regular screencap.. Here it is: Meanwhile, I'll check on the link (website looks wrong) you have included :) Thanks again.

If you zoom a screenshot doesn't matter. What matters is if you have made changes to Firefox, so check the settings mentioned in my above post.
