Even after a system restart, FFX either won't respond to an open, or if it opens, frequently won't follow a hypertext link. I have to use the W7 Task Manager to end the FFX process, then start over. This is recent, perhaps for 3 months, and is getting to be more frequent. No such problems if I default to IE. I tried to submit this earlier, but exceeded 30K chars with a msg about this long. Restarted W7 to see if there was a lot of stuff running from having not restarted for a while. Can't tell yet if Troubleshooter is filling up the 30K.... It is. I'm deleting a bunch of "print.printer ...." lines to get down from 38200.
