After upgrading to Firefox 56.0 on Ubuntu 16.04LTS, a dialog "Customize Firefox with Add-ons!" keeps appearing after Firefox has just been started and the first web page has been loaded. How do I get rid of this?

I fixed the problem myself: in the addres bar there was this jigsaw puzzle piece icon, and when hovering the mouse pointer over it, it showed the text "TAAR Expiriment". So I looked this up in the settings (about:config), and there was a modify key named "extensions.webextensions.uuids". I reset this key and the problem was gone.

Also, there was a new add-on installed, called TAARexpriment, which I removed. There was an email adddres named taarexp@mozilla.org associoted with this add-on. Anyone knows what this is all about, since a search on Google yields no results.
