Preface, this is a new account just so I could post this question.

I had to do a clean install of Windows. Naturally, I had to reinstall Firefox. I also reinstalled the Authy 2FA app for desktop. Of course it needs a new key.

I tried resetting my password in hopes that it would let me generate a new code for Authy with no luck.

I am still logged in on my Android phone. I am trying to get into that accounts Management page so I can either generate a new key for Authy or turn off 2FA so I can sign my desktop browser in. When I try to log in through my phone though, it brings up a page that says it is sending a confirmation sign in email to the address associated with that account. I have been trying this for over a day now, with multiple attempts at getting it to send the email with no luck.

Yes, I already tried adding accounts@firefox.com to my contacts list on that account, but no, it didn't seem to help.

It is a gmail account, and the password reset emails came through just fine and quickly.

Anybody know what is going on?

Hi

It may be the case that the email has been diverted to a "junk" or "spam" email folder, either on your computer (if you use dedicated email software such as Thunderbird) or on your email providers server.

I recomend that you check both of those places just to make sure that the email has not been diverted.

No, definitely not that. I added the firefox accounts domain to my contacts list as suggested and I have even gone as far as to just access GMail through my browser directly to circumvent any "middlemen" along with checking the junk and spam folders while logged in though my browser.

And yet, still no e-mail.
