How do I migrate my old emails from Yahoo to Thunderbird?

We have used yahoo mostly in the past as our personal email address and for other email address to forward a copy to. We now need to move all these emails, contacts, etc. Can you supply instructions to follow? Thank you. montaya

There is no such thing as a Thunderbird email address. Thunderbird is email client software not an email provider. You will still need a provider.
