After the 'update' (or at least after the color changed in the 'To' field), I have been getting seemingly random addresses when I type the names into the 'To' field. (i.e. Kathi brings up Rhonda). Also, I have seen that the addresses change when I click into the message field. (i.e. 'John Daily' will change to 'John Shape') once I click in the message field. This has happened at least a dozen times in the last few days.

I believe this is an 'update' issue since it only started happening since the colors in the 'To' field changed. My IT person's suggestion (since they don't support Thunderbird anymore) was to uninstall and re-install, but I have over 4000 e-mail addresses and I would really NOT like to do that (but will if that is what will fix it).

I can not snapshot this since it's a moving target.

Thank you for this.

However, I'm not sure this answers the issues of it changing the e-mail addresses once they are in the 'To' field (or the CC or the BCC for that matter).

Is the answer to wait for the next up grade? If so, so be it... but it's going to be a long wait while I have to double and triple check addresses. I handle a lot of confidential stuff and have already sent the wrong information to someone (thankfully it wasn't too bad.

Thanks!
