Some text on pages has ads attached to it.
I have just re-installed Firefox to a newly built PC and now on almost every page has ads along with the text. Moving the mouse over the text shows the ad, and I must then click out out of the in window pop-up. I can't find a way to get rid of them, or anything that I have added to cause this. I have included a screen shot of one of them. In it, you can see the word Java was chosen for the ad. How can I get rid of these?

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller
- AdwCleaner (for more info, see this alternate AdwCleaner download page)
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one. Windows 8 has antivirus built-in already.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Already did all that. It's still there.
I have also uninstalled and re-installed Firefox with no luck.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites. Is the problem still there?

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.
