Can't install My Points Score, Firefox preventing permission; says already installed

more options

I was having trouble with My Points Score. I removed it with the intention of reinstalling it. Firefox won't allow permission and then when I go back to the original page where I clocked on download, it tells me it's already there. I can't find it and can't seem to reinstall. Help!

Hi Cubbysmom06, could you re-check the Add-ons page and see whether the My Points extension is disabled instead of removed?

You can view, disable, and often remove unwanted or unknown extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
  • type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return

In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions.

Then scroll to the bottom where Firefox lists the disabled extensions. If you find My Points there, you should be able to use the Enable button to re-enable it.

Any luck? If it's not listed anywhere, I suggest closing out of Firefox and starting it back up before checking the Add-ons site again.
