mywebface ONLY works with Firefox 3.0. I have a newer version. How do I get & install V3.0?
I entered the mywebface.com site using Safari. In order to take advantage of the site's offerings, they state SPECIFICALLY that installation of the MyWebFace toolbar REQUIRES Firefox 3 both to download and to use the site. I am using the up to date Firefox V4 and I cannot download the toolbar. I tried to download Firefox V3 (a "downdate"?) but, of course, upon opening Firefox, I still have V4. What can I do to use the earlier version (3) of Firefox and/or get the MyWebFace toolbar?

Are you sure you want mywebface software? On my Windows computer your link redirects to http://mywebface.mywebsearch.com/download/index.jhtml and mywebsearch is considered by some to be malware ... see http://www.pchell.com/support/mywebsearch.shtml and http://redshifter.blogspot.com/2009/08/mywebsearch-hijacked-firefox-on-mac.html
That being said, Firefox 3.0 is way old. Try Firefox 3.6 first.
See How to download and install Firefox on Mac for screenshots of the "normal" install process. If you want to have both your current Firefox 4 version and Firefox 3.6 installed:
You can open the Applications folder in Finder, create a new "Firefox4" folder, and then drag the "Firefox.app" to the Firefox 4 folder. You can then download Firefox 3.6 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older and install it using the normal install process.
You will then have two versions of Firefox installed, Firefox 4 in the Applications : Firefox 4 folder and Firefox 3.6 in the Applications folder.

Thank you Alice. I'm happy I asked for help. Needless to say, I'm not pursuing the installation of this toolbar anymore!
You're welcome.
