Just about every time I close out of a firefox with multiple tabs and open a new firebox window, the original tabs from the first firefox reloads into the new window. It has been happening more and more often. Is any one else having this problem and if so, can you help fix it? It's getting very annoying.

What is the startup setting?

If you use this then the pages from the previous session will be reopened.

  • Tools > Options > General > Startup: When Firefox Starts: "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

Try to use "Firefox/File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the title bar.
