I am trying to transfer my firefox mobile 18 bookmarks from my old android phone to my new android phone. I have tried looking for an export option firefox mobile 18, but I only see an 'import from android' option. I have also looked at firefox sync, but from what I understood firefox sync requires a desktop.

I do have a desktop, but i do not wish to sync the firefox desktop and firefox mobile bookmarks.

htc sensation 4g (old and new phone) firefox mobile 18 (old and new phone) android 4.0.3 (old and new phone) 8gb sd micro card

Chosen solution

There is no manual way to copy data off the device.

You can create a second desktop profile just for syncing. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles this would keep your mobile and desktop browsing separate.

Thank you for the help, that is what I was trying to find out. I will do that so I can transfer my bookmarks when I replace my phone.
